Mainstream Media Colluded with Beto to Conceal His Dark Past before 2018 Election

Beto has officially announced his bid for 2020. He joins every other registered Democrat in the presidential primary. The biggest difference between Beto and the rest of the crowd is that he set a record for raising money on his first day.

There’s that, and he might have the most pronounced criminal career of any presidential candidate in history. You might think that committing high crimes would disqualify someone from running, but when mainstream media covers for all of your poor choices, you get to enjoy a special kind of privilege reserved only for Democrats in America.

The Story

You might already know about Beto’s disturbing DUI wreck. While completely drunk, he crossed an interstate median and hit another car. Miraculously, no one was killed. After seeing the wreckage he created, Beto tried to flee the scene. Ultimately, he was caught, and his wealthy father was able to buy his way out of trouble.

It’s a terrible story, and once upon a time, it might have been enough to ruin a political career. As bad as that is, it’s not the story we’re talking about today.

The news that just broke is that Beto was a member of a notorious hacking group before getting into Congress. To be more accurate, he was a member of the most notorious hacking group of the age. As a teenager, he joined the Cult of the Dead Cow.

If you aren’t familiar, this is basically the original organized group of hackers. They started by pirating software and cracking operating systems, but over the years they moved into even more malicious activity. At one point, they partnered with Chinese hackers to disrupt state services.

Beto’s personal exploits were a bit less impressive but still illegal. Mostly, he stole long-distance phone service and video games.

The Cover Up

It’s not terribly surprising that an illicit hacking group would protect the identity of one of their own. At the very least, it’s in their own best interest to shield members from scrutiny lest important secrets come to light. In Beto’s case, that importance was significantly amplified.

What illegal hacking group wouldn’t want a member of Congress in their pocket? They wouldn’t even need to buy him. Blackmail is plenty sufficient. And, that’s pretty much how it went. The Cult worked very hard to protect Beto’s image and status.

What’s more surprising is when a mainstream media outlet works to help shield a politician from a scandal like this. A member of Congress, Senate prospect and Presidential candidate joining a famous hacking ring should be news enough to sell some stuff. Instead, Reuters—who has always claimed to be impartial when it comes to politics—worked hard to conceal the news story.

Well, maybe this should be surprising, but these days, it’s just par for the course when it comes to the mainstream media and Democrats.

A journalist at Reuters was investigating the Cult for a book he wanted to write. In his research, he discovered Beto’s dirty little secret. This all happened in 2017. He then interviewed Beto on the subject, got a full confession, and agreed to sit on the story until after the conclusion of Beto’s election against Ted Cruz.

What’s more, editorial staff at Reuters were aware of this the whole time. A major news outlet stooged for a candidate. This is such a gross violation of objective journalism it’s hard to put it into words.

Had Beto listed himself as a Republican, we would have heard of this story as soon as it broke. Instead, the media continued their efforts to control politics. They lied and covered, and then they have the gall to wonder why we don’t trust them. It’s sickening!

The Worst Part

Leftists will tell you that President Trump could commit crimes on live TV and lose no supporters. That’s ridiculous, but this Beto story shows us why they believe it to be true. On the left, there actually isn’t a crime worthy of condemnation. Representatives in the House can openly declare their anti-Semitism, and the left will turn around and call you anti-Muslim. They can write legislation that protects the slaughter of just born babies, and they get cheers. Beto can reveal his illegal past, and his supporters will think it makes him cool.

President Trump and Republicans are the only politicians in Washington who actually have to survive scrutiny. When anyone on the right gets it wrong, we skewer them. Just look at Steve King. It’s only on the left where indiscretion is tolerated, protected and even celebrated.

The worst part is that the Democratic Party could probably be a little useful if they would even try to screen their candidates. Even an ounce of accountability would force them to learn and grow, and then we wouldn’t be stuck with a record number of socialists running for president. Instead, they refuse to ever learn a lesson, and they leave it to the responsible citizens of this country to steer the ship and protect them from their own stupidity.
