The Covington Doxxers on the Left and Right Need to Be Punished Hard

It’s nice to see that the media paused to reflect on the principles of “responsible journalism” after the embarrassing debacle over a false Buzzfeed report on President Trump. Oh, wait. Never mind, the media and the Never-Trump brigade at National Review totally ignored their role in that irresponsible false story.

Instead, they immediately pivoted to attacking a group of high school boys on false pretenses, calling for violence and death against them and their families because of yet another media hoax. And people still wonder why we took Congressman Steve King’s word over that of the New York Times!

A group of boys from Covington Catholic High School attended the annual March for Life over the weekend. A day after the rally, they were waiting for a bus and many of them were wearing souvenir red MAGA hats that they had purchased during the trip. As they were standing there minding their own business, a group of adult black males showed up. The men belong to a black supremacist group that calls itself the “Black Hebrews Israelites” and apparently they think that they are the “real Jews” of the world.

Anyway, the adult Black Hebrews proceeded to scream at the boys for an hour, calling them fa&&*ts, crackers and pedophiles. The boys did not respond by hurling racial epithets at the adult men or chanting political slogans, but by doing some of their school’s sports cheers.

Then some weirdo liberal Indian activist marched into the middle of the group and started banging a drum two inches from the face of one of the boys and singing at him.

The boy tried to defuse the hostile situation by calmly standing there and smiling at the weirdo activist. That smile became the “smirk of white privilege” heard around the world, as the media selectively took that 4 second snippet of video and claimed the boys in MAGA hats were racist aggressors using their MAGA white privilege to stomp on the poor little Indian.

Quick side note to all of the really smart people practicing True Journalism today: The boy tried to “defuse” the situation, as in taking the fuse out of a bomb. “Diffuse” is a totally different word with a totally different meaning which makes no sense to use in the context of this story. Look it up, morons. DE-FUSE versus diffuse. Sheesh.

The Covington school in Kentucky is shut down as of this writing due to death threats and bomb scares. Parents and students are being told to avoid the campus entirely because of the leftist mob that was drummed up – pun intended – by the fake news media pushing yet another fake story. Twitter mobs are doxxing the boys in the videos – identifying them publicly and posting their home addresses online in the hopes that one of the low-IQ shock troops of the left will do them harm.

And a ton of people on the left and right were dumb enough to fall for this media hoax before the corpse of the Buzzfeed debacle was even cold. Even a lot of fake conservative Never-Trumpers called the boys “evil” and seized the fake story as an opportunity to denounce President Trump. Ben Shapiro, Bill Kristol, Meghan McCain and others piled on to signal their virtue.

“Hey everyone, look at how not racist I am by denouncing this group of awful, icky white boys with their toxic masculinity and their MAGA hats! Please love me and invite me to your next cocktail party at Martha’s Vineyard because I joined your leftwing hate mob! I promise to go straight back into my gimp box when the party is over!”

Hey, Greg Gutfeld of Fox News: Go f**k yourself, because your apology isn’t good enough.

Americans need to channel their righteous anger against all of the adults on the left and right that have done serious harm to these kids. And where is President Trump, for that matter? These kids are his supporters and were harassed for a public display of their support for him, which is a constitutionally-protected activity.

Imagine that the races were reversed for a moment. Suppose a group of black children was on their first big trip to DC and in their excitement, they were all wearing Obama campaign hats – and a group of white adults stood there and called them the N word for an hour. Yeah.

Obama would have had the National Guard and armed Predator drones protecting their school, and all of the adult aggressors would be sitting in Guantanamo right now with bags over their heads.

Every media outlet and prominent adult that piled on and attacked these kids on Twitter needs to be sued and sued hard by the Covington parents. These irresponsible and un-American jerks have done real harm to these kids. Don’t believe us?

They’re high school kids. They’ll be applying for college soon. A couple of days ago, most of us had never heard of Covington Catholic High School. In 2016, college admissions offices in the United States donated something like 98% of their political contributions to Hillary Clinton (and the other 2% went to Jill Stein). Do you think any of the straight-A, high-IQ, accomplished kids from Covington stand a chance of getting into the college of their choice now? Their futures have been wrecked by this incident.

The left and the Never-Trumpers keep doing this to powerless everyday Americans because there are no consequences for their bad behavior. Punish them, Covington parents. Punish them hard.
