Well, it’s Amy Coney Barrett. Most of us only have one question that we need to have cleared up at her confirmation hearings. While driving with her husband and seven young children to President Trump’s big announcement, did the Barrett family listen to the radio, or did they sing songs together in four-part harmony? Or both?? Other than that, we pretty much know all that we need to know about her track record. Plus, we trust Trump to not drop the ball spectacularly while he’s this close to the finish line in a reelection year.
First off, we have to recognize that to the members of the mainstream media and elected Democrats in Congress, Amy Coney Barrett might as well be an alien from outer space. They have no reference point for anyone in their lives that is an everyday mom with a career, several kids and a minivan. If they ever accidentally encountered a person like that in the wild, they would hold them in contempt. Democrats and media figures are all about personal power and “career first.” Families and children get in the way of that.
Quick, name three liberal media figures, or three elected Democrats in Congress, who each have more than one child (if any).
I came up with, uh… let’s see. None. I got bupkis! I can’t think of a single liberal media talking head, or a single elected Democrat in Congress, that has more than one child (if they can even be disturbed in their “power couple” career paths to even have one). The most normal-seeming Democrat in Congress is Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii. She seems like she’d be a pretty good mom. But she’s had zero kids, like most of her colleagues.
Soon-to-be-Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett has five children of her own and then she and her husband adopted two children from Haiti, for a total of seven. As far as I’m concerned, that makes her eminently qualified for the Supreme Court.
The Constitution is not a “living, breathing” document that is supposed to evolve over time. If you want to have a stable country for the long term – so that your own children and grandchildren can enjoy the same standard of living as you do, or an even better one – you need stable laws. You need norms, traditions and standards that are unchanging, in order for peace, stability and prosperity to reign. You don’t want a country that is constantly going through destabilization because of “new” interpretations of the law that force major, unwanted societal shifts.
Interpreting the law is part of the process of prognosticating about what type of country we’ll have in the future. Will we have a country with freedom, prosperity and equal opportunity for all? Parents with kids think about that question a lot. Bitter, childless and power-hungry careerists don’t.
Let’s say you had three people to choose from for a Supreme Court seat: A bitter, childless lesbian feminist who says she wants to smash the patriarchy during her confirmation hearings; a childless “wise Latina” who says she’ll rule on the law based on her skin color; or a wife and mother with seven kids and a minivan.
Which one do you think would be most likely to be a stabilizing force for good on the Supreme Court for years to come? I’ll take the minivan mama every time. The lib media and the Democrats don’t know anyone in their elitist circles who would want to own a minivan, let alone have more than two kids, tops.
It’s another example of the rift between normal people in flyover country and the people who think they are our “betters” on the coasts. The elites no longer know or understand the very country they demand to be in charge of.
Another big plus in Barrett’s column, which makes the elites view her as a space alien: She didn’t go to Harvard or Yale like every other Justice currently on the court. Barrett got her undergrad degree in Tennessee and her law degree at Notre Dame. She’s practically like a normal person!
Go for it, liberals! Attack the extremely nice mom in the minivan whose entire life screams “normal person” to the rest of us. Let’s see how that works out for you in November.

One of the issues with getting great conservative Justices on the Supreme Court is that we have liberal (RINO) republican Senators which will not allow a conservative Judges on the supreme court. President Trump will need a republican majority in both parties to ensure some effective programs get though congress which will lower costs to the American people.

When the justices approve or disapprove something before the Supreme Court they need to reference the paragraph and verse in our Constitution. I support Miss Barrett for a seat on the high court.
